The Golomb family built more than a century of boxing knowledge through Everlast, our family business, which worked with fighters including Jack Dempsey and Muhammad Ali. John Golomb later designed the thumbless boxing glove. Today John and Joie, his daughter and apprentice, bring that experience to each pair we make, from the pattern and fit to hand-selected cowhide, padding and fully welted seams.

For decades, Golomb family-made gloves were produced under the Everlast name and worn throughout boxing’s golden era—from Jack Dempsey to Muhammad Ali. The patterns, padding, and construction developed during that time helped define how boxing gloves are made.
When large-scale manufacturing moved overseas, John Golomb carried forward the craft, original patterns, techniques, and construction methods—continuing to make gloves by hand in the United States.
That work continues today at GOLOMB. One pair at a time.
