FAQ
-
A pull needle is used by inserting the needle through the glove hole first, then threading the lace through the open eye and pulling it back through the glove. This allows the lace to be drawn through longer runs or tougher sections where added pulling force is helpful.
-
A lockin’ needle secures the lace end internally and is pushed through the glove along a set path. A pull needle works in reverse: the needle is placed where the lace needs to exit, the lace is fed into the eye, and then pulled through. Each tool follows a different lacing mechanism and pattern.
Lockin Lace Needles —> -
Many lacers prefer pull needles for tight channels, reinforced leather, long tunnels (such as the top of the web), or areas where extra leverage and control are needed to draw the lace through.
